Short-term transport services

Employers from third countries must submit an electronic application to the Employment Service of Slovenia before starting to provide services in international road transport.

The amendment to the Employment, Self-Employment and Work of Foreigners Act (ZZSDT-E) introduced mandatory registration of transport services by foreign carriers that perform international transport or cabotage through the Republic of Slovenia.

An individual transport service can last a maximum of seven continuous days.

Register a short-term transport service

The application is submited through the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia. Until the online application for submitting registration is available, registration is done using the form Registration of the Provision of Short-Term Transport by an Employer from a Third Countries.

Registrater short-term transport

Applicants must send the completed registration form via email to the ESS filing office at gpzrsz@ess.gov.si. A confirmation of the completed registration will be sent from this address.
