2	Unemployment Benefit Entitlement-holders: - Persons who became unemployed through no fault or will of their own - Who were employed for at least 12 months in the 18 months prior to the termination of employment
3	Unemployment Benefit The basis: - the average monthly wage for 12 months before the employment was terminated The level of benefit: - 70 % during the first three months - 60 % in the remaining months the lowest is set at 100 % of the guaranteed wage the highest at 300 % of the guaranteed wage

Duration of the right to unemplyoment benefit: - three months for those with one to five years’ of insurance - six months for those with five to 15 years’ of insurance - nine months for those with 15 to 25 years’ of insurance - 12 months for those with over 25 years’ of insurance - 18 months for people over 50 with over 25 years’ of insurance - 24 months for people over 55 with over 25 years’ of insurance
5	Unemployment Assistance Entitlement-holders: - People whose right to unemployment benefit has ended - People who completed trainee period which lasted less than 12 months Pre-condition for being entitled to unemployment assistance is that family income per member of family does not exceed a certain level set by law Amounts to 80% of guaranteed wage Duration up to 15 months
6	Unemployment Benefit, Unemployment Assistance Conditions for retaining the right to claim: - The person is available for employment - No suitable employment for this person is available - After half of the entitlement period has passed, no suitable employment is available for this person - The person is actively seeking employment
7	Refunding of Travel Costs Refunding of the costs of travelling by public transport to a job interview Refunding of the costs of registered post for sending applications to would-be employers
