  • Objectives of the programme – The programme equalizes employment opportunities and provides conditions for the employment of disabled people and difficult-to-employ persons who, due to their physical or psychological impairments or illness, have difficulties entering the world of work or finding employment. Employment rehabilitation enables preliminary procedures to identify the level of disability and increases employability of a disabled person.

Work participation of disabled people and the expert commissions for determining the characteristics of a disabled person
  • The programmes of work participation are intended to provide equal opportunities for employment and to establish conditions for the employment of disabled people with complex impairments and special needs arising from disease, congenital conditions, functional impairments, or other obstacles.


  • In compliance with the Act Regulating the Training and Employment of Disabled Persons, which is in use until the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons Act (adopted in 2004) is fully in force, opinions on a person’s disability are issued by an expert commission for determining the characteristics of a disabled person.
