EURES stands for
EURopean Employment Services.
It is a network of public employment services and their national partners.
Members: EU members countries and European Economic
Area member states (EEA).
The network is
co-ordinated by the European Commission. The
ESS has been a member of EURES since 1 May
2004.
Objective: to facilitate the free movement of workers.
