Organization: The Employment Service functions at three levels; at the seat of the ESS (Management and Head Office), at twelve regional offices and fifty-nine local offices. Fundamental legal base: Employment and Unemployment Insurance Act Tasks of the ESS: To provide unemployed persons with professional assistance in obtaining work; to provide employers with professional help in meeting their labour needs; to enable unemployed persons and scholarship-holders effective enforcement of rights and protection and professional help; to offer co-operation in development of the labour market to professional institutions, operators of employment measures and to social partners; to provide other legal entities and individuals with professional help in the area of the ESS activities. |
