2005 Annual Report Organisation of the ESS The ESS is an independent legal entity with public institution status that operates uniformly across the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. It was established pursuant to Article 61 of the Act. In 2005, the head office of the Service was at Glinška Ulica 12 in Ljubljana. The Service operates organisationally and functionally on three levels: at the head office of the Service, which houses the Management and Head Office, and in regional offices and labour offices throughout Slovenia. Organisation chart of the Service Labour offices Labour offices (LO) through direct contact ensure clients their rights in relation to employment and labour mediation, employment counselling, exercising rights arising from unemployment insurance, implementation of employment measures, vocational counselling for young people and adults, and scholarships.
Regional offices Regional offices (RO) of the ESS perform professional and operational tasks in the area of activity of the Service in their regions, monitor and study employment and unemployment trends and advise and offer professional and operational support to LOs in their territories, as well as working with employers, ESS service providers and regional and/or local entities in the labour market. Regional offices of the ESS Head office Head office (HO) is responsible for a uniform methodology for professional and operational implementation of procedures in the area of activity of the ESS and to provide information, analytical, legal, HR, accounting and development-organisational support to all organisational areas within the ESS. ESS management The management of the ESS ensures organisation, management and a professional approach to the implementation of the Act and other acts and regulations the provisions of which affect the activities of the Service. Until 31 July 2005, Jože GLAZER held the post of general director, with his deputy being Mavricija BATIČ. Since 1 August, Anka RODE has been acting general director, with her deputy Tanja DROBNIČ. Until 31 July 2005, the assistants of the general director were: Damjana KOŠIR, Sonja PIRHER and for part of the year Irena DOLINŠEK and Cvetka CVEK; since 1 August 2005, the assistants have been Cvetka SREŠ, Tanja PINTAR KORENT, Irena JUVAN and Franc BELČIČ. Regional office directors in 2005 (to 31 July and since 1 August) were: Uroš PEŠEC (to 31 July) and Karmen LESKOŠEK (since 1 August) - RO Celje, Mira KOČEVAR FURLAN - RO Koper, Lučka ŽIŽEK - RO Kranj, Cvetka CVEK (to 31 July) and Janita ERŽEN (since 1 August) - RO Ljubljana, Žarko MARKOVIČ (to 31 July) and Valentina PLEMENITAŠ (since 1 August) - RO Maribor, Cvetka SREŠ (to 31 July) and Branka KUZMA SMOLIČ (since 1 August) - RO Murska Sobota, Erna KUFERSIN REHBERGER - RO Nova Gorica, Franc SMERDU - RO Novo Mesto, Vlasta STOJAK - RO Ptuj, Anton KOREN - RO Sevnica, Lijana RISTIČ VIDIC - RO Trbovlje and Srdan ARZENŠEK - RO Velenje. |
